Backstory:

The age of 10.. ah yes, every young aspiring trainer and breeder remembers this age, the minimum age for aquiring the license which allows you to train Pokemon. In the case of young Toraeru it was the start of this, and more.. as all young trainers, Toraeru Hito, a young Japanese boy from the city of Kaibutsu, was given his license to train, a few Pokeballs, and a Pokemon to begin with. Now, his starting Pokemon was utterly worthless in his eyes, but still did he train his Abra.. so confident in it even as it was defeated did he christen it with the dark name of "Death the First" or "Death I". And yet, Death I was always defeated, a poor specimen.. until he evolved. It was at this point, as a Kadabra, that Toraeru became a Pokemon capturer in earnest, getting at least one specimine of each species he could find. Eventually he envested in a sleek black Pokedex to identify each of the creatures he found, and before long he was ready to begin his journey.. outside of Kaibutsu. A fairwell to his family, a token of money for the trip, and Toraeru was away within the week.

Years Passed..

At the age of 13, Toraeru Hito had captured nearly 130 species of Pokemon.. those alluding him were rarely seen at all, or could be evolved from one of those he kept. Most were released to Pokemon centers shortly after he caught them, or given as gifts. The best fighters, and those who he loved as friends and companions stayed with him. He continued on..

A Year

At 14, Toraeru had managed to capture some of the rarest Pokemon ever.. Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.. only one of these three he kept, the others released back into the wild. But in his travels, Toraeru had heard of something.. a new, extremely powerful Pokemon.. breeded of a legendary creature through the science of cloning, spliced with the genes of a human. A Pokemon of incredible strength and intelligence. And it may have bred.. Toraeru searched.. and found a creature, much like this. A Mewtwo, a failed experiment before the more intelligent, more insightful creature which was to lure trainers from afar to it's island lair. This Mewtwo he found was feral, hissing and mewling to the sky, howling for it's food and hunting by pure instinct. And this creature he managed to catch, and perhaps to tame.. but also this creature may just bide it's time, more intelligent than it's owner suspects. And he dubbed this creature, in homage to his still loved, still kept Alakazam.. he dubbed his Mewtwo as Death.. Toraeru's a morbid sucker, ain't he? ^_^

Now..

Now, Toraeru has captured another.. more intelligent than the feral Death, Aku Tenshi is a calm representative of the species.. Toraeru's friend more than his pet. And in addition to his twin Mewtwo, he has in his posession one of the rarest creatures alive, a Mew.. named simply Myuu. Having possessed and gotten to know these creatures has sparked something within Toraeru. Training his Pokemon is less of a goal for him now.. he has faced up to the Elite Four and won, though his championship was so brief it was never spoken of, as Shigeru (or Gary) Ookido (Oak) had bested him literally within moments of his championship.. and you know that part of the story. But not discouraged by his brief term, Toraeru applied at Indigo Plateau, as an enforcer of the League.. and his first assignment, appointed to him though also proposed by him, is to seek out a rumoured colony of Mew and Mewtwo, and to protect them from greedy trainers.. to allow the species to prosper. And this is where Toraeru's story begins..
